It wasn’t on my bucket list to ride a camel, but what an experience. Despite being one of the first animals we identify as kids, I realized how little I actually knew about them. Beautiful, powerful, rugged, kinda creepy.

Japan had long been a dream travel destination for me, particularly once I heard about the Nagano snow monkeys. I’ve always had a thing for monkeys and their strange human-like tendencies. As we hiked through the snow to the mountain onsens (natural volcanic hot springs) where they congregate, I couldn’t believe my eyes as hundred of them lay in a trace in the volcanic heated water of the springs. A moment i’ll never forget!

The red fox, from what I understand, lives regularly in civilized areas populated by people; however, they are so stealthy, so sneaky, you may never see them in your own backyard. Neither do I, but they’re probably there! I found this beautiful animal, perhaps my favorite in all the land near the oldest, biggest cemetery in our metropolitan area. It is one of three living there as far as I know.
