This was taken as we were just leaving Redwood National Park on our way to New York. A family of elk was grazing a field right next to the road. I had to be a typical tourist and pull over to capture it.

Met a friend that came down from Humboldt. We met at the opposite end of California. At the most southern beach in California. Imperial beach. As I waited for him I went for a swim. The water dropped 15 degrees since I was out a week prior. It was around high 50s maybe low 60s. I swam for about 10 minutes and then went got out to wait for him. While I was waiting I took my camera out and saw a friendly cat. We hung out for a little until my friend arrived. A cool cat
