The Ocean City Fishing Pier is a popular destination for anglers and sightseers alike, extending into the Atlantic Ocean for a unique waterfront experience. Equipped with a bait and tackle shop, the pier provides everything needed for a day of fishing, whether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner. Its location near an amusement park adds to the lively atmosphere, making it a great spot to enjoy ocean views, cast a line, or simply take in the coastal scenery. Taken by Jeff McLain in 2024.

A Blacktip Reef Shark. These sharks are common in the tropics in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Sharks have the perfect shape for moving quickly in water, and in my opinion, torpedoes and submarines look awkward and clumsy by comparison. This type of shark is hardly ever dangerous to humans.
